PROKAWE

The PROKAWE battery represents a completely new generation of energy (electricity) storage device based on high pressure gas filling. The frame is subject to pressures of presently 70 bar and will support pressures of up to 250 bar in the future. The current existing prototypes have about 5 times more energy density than a lithium-ion battery or a lithium-manganese battery cell.

EVs equipped with a PROKAWE would reach a range of at least 700 km.

Another extraordinary advantage of PROKAWE, is that they can be recharged nearly infinitely. They do not have any wear parts, hence are perfect for the battery substitution concept at electricity recharge stations.

A minor downfall is that PROKAWE batteries cannot be recharged through the poles, but require a special charging system. This is currently under development and a functioning prototype has been constructed.

4 years of development are estimated in order to finalise the development for a series production.

One of the main markets will be the implementation in vehicles, and electronic vehicles worldwide.

The total financing volume is estimated at 25.0m. €.

There are a number of participation possibilities, from pure financing, to an active/passive (majority) shareholding.
